About Westminster Presbyterian Church

Westminster Presbyterian Church of Paducah, Kentucky is composed of all those who profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and with their children have chosen the tradition and government of the United Presbyterian Church in the United States of America as the most acceptable means of making that profession effective.  They gather each week to hear the word of God proclaimed, to study its implications for their lives, to submit their prayers and praise to almighty God and to become equipped for their ministries and services in the world.  They covenant together, in dependence upon the Holy Spirit to bear a present witness in their family, vocational, and social lives. They seek to remain constantly aware of the changing nature of the community and try to adapt the organization and program of the church to meet its need.

You can join Westminster by:

	Baptism and Profession of Faith-for those making a first time commitment to faith in Jesus Christ,
	Reaffirmation of faith-for those who have become inactive in their church affiliation and now want to reaffirm their faith and become an active member again,
	Transfer of Membership-for those who are coming from another church. Westminster contacts the former church requesting a letter of membership transfer.
