Taco Soup
1lb ground chuck
1-15 oz black beans
1-15oz whole kernel corn
1-15oz hominy
2-15oz diced tomatoes
2-15oz pinto beans
1-4oz green chilies OLD EL PASO BRAND
1-pkg Hidden Valley Salad Dressing (McCormicks)
1-pkg dry taco seasoning mix
1- med. Onion chopped
1-med. Bell pepper chopped
Brown meat with onion and peppers,drain if needed Mix all ingredients in crock pot cook on low for six hours. Add water to get desired consistency Serve with tortilla style chips and garnish with shredded cheese if desired

Chili
1 large onion
1 lb+ ground chuck
1 can whole tomatoes (large)
2 cans chili beans
1 can beer
2 T chili powder
1 1/2 T. paprika
2 T corn meal
1 T salt
1/2 T sugar
1/2 T garlic powder
3/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper or to taste
Brown meat & onions, drain, mix remaining ingredients and simmer for 2+ hours or cook in slow cooker.
